"Winter of the soul can be
an uncomfortable season as well,
but God is the King of Winter as well.
Therefore, we should not complain for
losses, crosses, weariness, sickness, poverty
and a thousand other difficulties
are sent by the Lord and come to us
through his wise purpose.
Remember, frost also kills deadly insects,
stemming agonizing diseases.
It softens the hardness of the soil as well
and sweetens our souls.

A blast from the past. Happy New Year !! I hope your post is a teaser for more to come.
I hope everything is ok and that this passage isn't a harbinger of disastrous news or personal misery. Good to see you back in the blogosphere! I just came back after vanishing for 6 months.
